Mom Brain is built for the things you actually say out loud — messy, unfiltered, real. Your privacy matters to us. We will never sell your personal data.
What information we collect
When you use Mom Brain, we may collect:
- Account information — your email address if you choose to sign in (Mom Brain also works without an account, saved locally on your device)
- Brain dumps — the voice or text entries you create, including tasks, notes, and reflections you choose to save
- Usage data — which features you use, so we can improve the experience
- Device information — device type and operating system version, for technical support purposes
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Organize your brain dumps into categories like Today, Kids, Home, and Meals
- Sync your lists across devices if you choose to sign in
- Improve the app based on how people use it
- Respond to your support requests
Voice and AI features
Mom Brain uses voice-to-text and AI-assisted sorting to organize what you say into a calm family plan. Your voice input is processed to generate text and structure — it is not stored as audio after processing, and it is not used to train AI models.
Your mental load is personal
We know what you say to Mom Brain may include private, emotional, or unfiltered thoughts — the kind you might not want in a public planner. We treat this content with care. We do not read, analyze, or share the content of your brain dumps for any purpose other than organizing it for you.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with trusted service providers who help us operate the app (such as cloud storage or AI processing providers), and only to the extent necessary to provide our service.
Your choices and rights
You are in control of your data. You can:
- Clear your saved brain dumps at any time from your Profile
- Use Mom Brain without creating an account — your data stays on your device
- Request a copy of your data
- Delete your account and all associated data (see our account deletion page)
If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA. Please contact us to exercise them.
Children's privacy
Mom Brain is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will notify you through the app or by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
